CFO position reporting directly to the CEO of a start-up medical diagnostics company

Location: Chicago (office-based 3 days per week)

Base salary up to $225K (based on experience) plus eligibility for bonus

Full benefits to include medical, dental and 401(k), stock options based on approval

Must have Manager level experience with financial planning and analysis

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required; Master’s degree is a plus, but not required

CPA not required, but professional accounting certification (i.e. CPA, CMA, CGA, CA) is a plus  

Responsibilities to include: Oversee day-to-day operations of the finance dept, prepare budgets, forecasting, P&L, work closely with HR dept (payroll and benefits are outsourced)

This position does not have any direct reports at this time

Healthcare/medical field experience not required

Experience with Concur or NetSuite is a plus
